I was reading about one of our esteemed Liberal MP's who has now managed to expose himself to other members of parliament (pun intended) twice now.

William Amos, a Liberal MP, released a statement Thursday about the incident: "Last night, while attending House of Commons proceedings virtually, in a non-public setting, I urinated without realizing I was on camera."

Who brings their computer to a bathroom to urinate? I have had to be on zoom meetings this year- and there was never any risk of my my treating the other participants to a free seminar and demonstration of a watersports fetish. Also, who gets completely naked to pee? 

I would imagine if he were conservative (and a two time offender) people would call for his resignation (and probably criminal charges.) Good thing his is Liberal. And, as Dubb would say, at least he is not fat.

The honest answer? I think it depends on the trajectory of the virus. If the idiot held an election today, he would get in. But they have to give notice of an election. If they held it in the midst of another wave of lockdowns it might be "problematic." As the Delta variant takes hold and more cases are recorded, I think he / she / they /them / zim and zir may all want to wait for awhile.

If things look positive, a fall election. If not, maybe Justine can pass legislation to appoint himself the "emergency ruler" or Canada for the duration of the pandemic? He also has to be sure to spread enough bullshit about his being "very sorry" for the residential school graves that are turning up to appear to be sympathetic before calling an election. He was given a report like 3 years ago and did nothing. But now it is a "top priority." Only because it will affect his election chances. Not because "the one who keeps trying"* actually cares one damn bit for natives.

*You can look it up. It is his "Indian name" bestowed upon him with a headdress back when people were gullible enough to think he gave a fuck.

Canadian elections are very childlike. Voters appear at the door with an election card in hand.
There is no waiting in line. They are pointed to an appropriate table by a friendly maître d'.
Servers scan the menu to find your name and address. You take your ballot to another table.
There is a short and stubby yellow pencil with which to place an X in your chosen circle.
The ballot is returned to the server who keeps the top part and the vote gets put in a little box.

I'm just going to drop this here. I'm starting to wonder if they have been paid to lose the election so that Justine gets a majority. In Canada that amounts to an outright dictoatoship as the Senate is not elected, not equal, and not effective. And as long as he can keep his party voting how he demands using the whip (yes, the party "whip" is an actual paid party position), he can revoke as many freedoms and put in any draconian laws that he his masters want for the next four years unopposed.

Now it is Erin (Aaron?) O'Tool. He makes Harper look like "Mr. Personality"... And he makes Stockwell Day look like an amazing public intellectual.
