Axios reports that the United States is expected to run out of adults who want to get vaccinated within the next two to four weeks, citing a recent Kaiser Family Foundation analysis. According to the authors of the paper, “It appears we are quite close to the tipping point where demand for rather than supply of vaccines is our primary challenge.… Federal, state, and local officials, and the private sector, will face the challenge of having to figure out how to increase willingness to get vaccinated among those still on the fence, and ideally among the one-fifth of adults who have consistently said they would not get vaccinated or would do so only if required.“

Vanity fair? Is this the same magazine that ran a story with the headline "“Republican Governors Celebrate COVID Anniversary With Bold Plan to Kill Another 500,000 Americans.”

Can somebody here remind me what happened since Texas opened up? Has Vanity Fair bothered to report what happened instead of "killing another 500,000 Americans?" I mean, they seem very balanced in their reporting (and very accurate.) I don't know why I would dismiss their opinion. But I'm going to chose to go ahead and do so.

I'm trying to play the waiting game to see if ppl start getting ALS/Alzheimer's/Kuru. It just really sucks ending up with a brain eating disease and becoming a prisoner in your own body and not being able to take the 00 Buck pill, I think i would rather die from Covid.

(Microbiology & Infectious Diseases is an open-access journal published by SciVision Publishers, a potential predatory publisher intended for profit rather than academic peer-review.)

It's worth noting this is not the first time Classen has used "science" to claim vaccines do more harm than good. In 1999, he claimed the influenza vaccine caused type 1 diabetes, a claim disproven by Johns Hopkins University's Institute for Vaccine Safety.
