Now there’s a cop who deserves to be being treated the way Chauvin is but won’t be because Granny is white, not black so it’s alright.

It's about time to teach these dinosaurs a lesson. This is not the idyllic 1950's of their childhood That is what happens when you resist the instructions of somebody sworn to serve and protect the corporations and the elite.

The officers deserve a medal for meritorious conduct making sure that the Waltons do not lose profits to so called "absent minded" thieves such as this lady. Hopefully they can put off a lawsuit until the plaintiff drops dead and it no longer matters.

I see your video of an old lady and raise you "Robert Leone." A man who was bipolar and may or may not have resisted arrest resulting in charges and prison time. Never mind that the police beat him severely for 11 hours in custody, tased him 10 times, refused him medical help, finally had to bring him to the hospital a couple of times because you should only beat a suspect much before you have to be sure he will live. Oh, and they beat and tased him again in the hospital while restrained (because he provoked them by not answering questions)

Oh, and he spent 2.5 years in jail for assaulting an officer (the cop broke his hand punching him in the head.) This reminds me. I need to order my annual "back the blue" bumper sticker (particularly as these cops are still on active duty.) It is a real shame that youtube allows this garbage to remain up when it doxes the officers by name.

The real fun starts around 5:00

Police ARREST father in front of 'scared' crying child for eating in car

Compare with closer jurisdictions.
At least no one was shot, asphyxiated or even actually arrested.

What does any of this have to do with Fyodor Dostoevsky?

I think "Crime and Punishment" is somewhere on my shelves but I haven't read it yet.

I did read "Anna Karenenenannnania(sp)" but I think that was by someone else.  It was really boring.

Well, it's certainly been awhile, and no one has written a better book yet—but there's still time while we watch the Supercritical Superfly Supercount Superdown Supertimer, so you might as well get started.

But first, shove a copy of Atlas Shrugged up your wife’s ass first. It will really set the mood. (Try asking for consent first... you know, change it up a little. It might really spice things up.)

Some have said for them the novel was a life changing experience.
The theme of this thread was meant to be more modest.
What is a crime to begin with, and when one is accused of a crime in the eyes of law enforcement, when does the enforcement become the actual punishment?

In 2017, Tran received a 5-year restraining order against Brown after testifying under oath that he was physically abusive during their relationship, and he threatened her after they broke up. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Brown)

Only five years? Weak. This broad would be dead by dawn.
