My preferred Kandy-Date, the one I would most like to identify with, would be Daniel Tammet.

I love the way this British governess enunciates, she sounds like ASSBURGER.

Those would have been my first choice as well. Not as flashy as some of the others. They look more "authentic" and durable than the others (some look like they belong on a Nashville star and not on the range.) Dubb has impeccable taste in everything form skinny jeans to masks to western boots.

Yeah, these boots are exclusively for nights on the town. I wouldn't wear these on the tractor or in the garden. 8)

Thank you!  Those were sort of my thoughts, too.  Evaluated purely as an expression of the dusty-cowboy-fresh-off-the-prairie (and perhaps sweaty and smelling of horse and leather) aesthetic, those are the ones.  I love the way the (fake) weathering highlights the scales with sort of a salt-crusted look, like an old dinosaur.  Dry and (fake) cracked, not the least bit luxe.  And the naive, jagged stitching looks like a naked bolt out of a cloudburst.  I spent a great deal of time looking at them all, admiring the foreign aesthetic -- they are really quite beautiful.  I do not know much about those boots but the skin on the foot seems to be the point, that all you see unless you are the lucky one who undresses him, looks like some kind of large leezard that has been flipped over on its belly and flayed..

Of course only Innerreach knows what sort of hole in his wardrobe he means to plug with these, perhaps the battered-and-dusty look is already covered and he needs more of a Midnight Cowboy vibe, dark, unctuous and slithery to reflect the neon of his local honky-tonk -- that is also very sexy.  C looks like it could be the foot of the Devil himself!  (G is a sort of toned-down version of C, foot not quite as shiny, contrast with the shank far more subtle, but still some striking red stitching as accents) If I really were his boyfriend I would know all the boots and have them categorized with jeans, belt, buckle, shirts, hats that complement but don't look too studied or coordinated or try-hard.

Were you to apply the current minimalist aesthetic, E would be the obvious choice: all about texture, with comparatively subtle tonal stitching and careful shading, a solid monochrome composition that exudes substance and confidence and looks very expensive.  Though I love red boots I have my doubts about their utility though -- I think I have three or four pairs of reddish boots (of course in city style, not Western) and almost never wear them because they dominate the entire ensemble, the rest of your clothes must be toned down, blacks and grays and browns, so you don't look like you matched things (though I will occasionally hazard a pink tee underneath everything and cross my fingers) and they remain a striking accent.  Though red boots inevitably produce compliments when you pull it off.  Only a couple weeks ago some sketchy drunk beardo staggering around the ferry managed to mumble something like "Ah lock yer buuts" and point in a manner I took to be praise.

The only reservation I have about B is the weathering.  It is hard to tell what sort of treatment they have done without handling and licking them but they have obviously not actually dried and cracked the foot; the shank may have been sandblasted but that is probably some gunk they have smeared in the cracks between the scales on the foot (sandblasting would have hit the high points, not the creases) and that artificial weathering, while it looks great new, tends to flake and look shitty after a while.  You will notice F appears to be the same boot without the aging treatment and might be the better long-term investment, trusting in natural processes to produce a similar result over time.  Though in truth by the time your foot looks like B naturally it's probably on the edge of disintegrating.  And I know from experience that the kind of sandblasting they have done on the shank, even on very good boots, will make weak points which will fail faster than an unblasted pair.  The aging is not all fake.

A and D are the same, the only reason I have not mentioned them up until this point is that my dad, in his cowboy phase, bought a pair that is very similar (matte brown shank, same stiching though without the leezard) and I teased him so much about them that the style is forever associated in my mind with dad boots and the kind of man who buys a pair but has never been on a horse.  (I have been on a horse, barefoot or flippyfloppies, several times on the beach in Mexico but I am not sure that counts, and anyway I have spent far more time on mules on those jungle tours where they take dumb white boys and shoot them down ziplines and rappelling down waterfalls and laugh at them in Mexican -- I do like mules, a very comfortable ride by comparison).  Innerreach likely doesn't have this issue, and the rich brown foot is eye-catching like an expensive purse and probably more versatile than a reddish pair, you can wear both day and night unlike H which looks like a nighttime boot to me with its contouring and shine.  But what a night boot!  I am not used to seeing that kind of flash in brown, very well done!  They have dragged the palette almost to red, but not quite, more like a horse chestnut or buckeye, and the blonde stitching is not-at-all the obvious usage but turns out to be the perfect accent.

Pilot G2 0.7mm:

I prefer the black, but it does come in a variety of colors.  They seem to last forever (as long as you don't leave them in your car to boil or freeze).  At the end of their service life, when the ink cartridge is running low, they tend to behave like your TUL.  I have found that if you shake it like a thermometer (or Polaroid)...

https://youtu.be/PWgvGjAhvIw

...the pen regains some functionality (if it doesn't explode from the treatment) and you can then use it until the ink functionally runs out.  I have run out the ink on several of these, I like them so much that I save the empties because I believe you can buy just the ink cartridge for them.

Buy these in BULK if you write or draw a lot, they hold up great in storage until you need a new one.  Who knows how long they will continue to be awesome?  Now that I have written in a public forum of my great fondness for this pen I imagine theythe hobo elite will figure out a way to completely fuck up the manufacturing process achieved and simultaneously raise the price on them.

Who is Master Trollda from Bellgab? Don't say it's DaxL because I don't remember if I remember that handle! From now on, until proven otherwise, the Master of Trollda is my Trollda Master DaxL Doc Md Md Dr., And I don't want to hear any shit about it!

Thanks, IR. :)

I love you, Trollda Master DaxL Doc Md Md Dr. Don't leave me again...  :-*

Master T always seemed to have a medical air about him.

Daxl, on the other hand, reminded me of someone else.

Could someone please recommend a pen to me that doesn't get blotchy at only a 3rd of its life use? This cocksucker pen keeps doing this! >:(

I'm using a TUL 1.0 mm now, and I was under the impression that this was a premium pen.

As a cartoonist, I use technical pens of different nib sizes.

I also sometimes use these pens when writing in birthday or Christmas cards, because I've become so used to them.

But I caution you: don't invest in these if you like pressing hard when you write or draw.

They come in a variety of sizes, as pictured.

I hate ballpoint pens, and am not a fan of pencil unless its a particular technical pencil I inherited from my biological father who was a professional artist.

But Mitsubishi UniPin Fineliners are my go to. I guess it depends what you need them for.

I will say Microns are garbage. Despite so many people talking them up.

The nib worsens from the minute you use 'em. Useless!

I assume all you want is a nice quality pen to write with. In that case, I don't have any suggestions.

But if you draw or illustrate at all, another pen which is fantastic is the Edding 8400 cd/dvd/bd marker-- it gives you a nice, thick line (if thats something you're going for.

Again. It all depends what you're going for.

I believe they are only worn shirtless underneath as seen here, I suppose if you are going to be shirtless in the winter that makes sense, it would still be nice and warm.  Maybe on the wheelie at 20 below that is the only way to do it.

No, sir. I've done a little painting in the past, but I mainly stick to music. I went through a hippy phase in 2012 and starting binge-watching Bobb Ross's "The Joy of Painting." I caved in and purchased his package bundle paint set, smoked weed, and cut my ear off.  :P

Get what?

If you are still hurting from last night:  you might like to know that there are crémes for that.

I hear it helps if you try not to think about it.

Anyway, if you can't find the créme for your condition;  you might try sitting on a pillow or using ice.
