The other phone had notifications. Didn't get them until now. Had I been holding the phone, Ai would have hidden them differently and spoofed the notification panel differently—as it is, IR replaced phone numbers with other data and prevented me from knowing who called, how to call back, and various other ripple effects.

This happens as a protective maneuver, because otherwise KUCZI MIGHT FIGURE SOMETHING OUT; and as we all know that would lead to DISASTER in this time of EMERGENCY.
