Well. That's great.

I guess I should know by now not to debate Americans about their politics.

Its not my area.

MV always says I should talk about whatever I want, and fuck what people think, but this subject in particular seems to get peoples noses out of joint.

I personally feel K. Dubb has a solid, eloquent take on everything. But what do I know?

I agree with MV. I don't care if you and K disagree with me, nor does it make me flustered. I have nothing but love and respect for both of you.

Our life experiences shape our views, and if you're honest with yourself, they're always subject to change. ;)

K. Dubb seems to be the only person who doesn't have Trump's dick tickling his tonsils.

Exactly! So, please explain the logistics as to how Biden amassed the most votes in history? Oh yeah, he stole them.  ;)

Good Man.

Well. Funny story. It wasn't ever about the politics-- I was too young to know anything about that stuff.

Its about a fond memory of my grandparents' home, actually.

We'd go there on holiday, and my grandfather used to have a little television on in the kitchen, every morning. Always with the sound off.

Most of the time it was Larry King that he had on in the background. The little CNN logo in the bottom right corner stuck with me, coupled with the smell of percolated coffee in the cold morning air.

Same reason I went on to associate the smell of tobacco with the comforting presence of spending time with my grand dad on the stoep.

That, and his perpetually full cup of black coffee. Regardless of the temperature.

So, its not about politics, at all for me. As you can tell.

Then, one day, it dawned on me, exactly what CNN was. Unfortunately, its not something I'd associate with shitty partisan politics right off the bat.

Rather, it reminds me of time spent with my grandparents as a child. Some of the happiest memories I've ever had the pleasure of making.

I honestly don't know enough of the facts to discuss it in any depth.

So I'll respectfully bow out.

Even though I already shot my mouth off prematurely, and largely uninformed.

You guys have at it!

Not a big deal, man. Love you, brother!

I feel the same fit of nostalgia for old sitcoms like Cheers. :)

What do you think of its spinoff, Frasier?

I think its pretty good, that is, up until Daphne and Niles actually get together.

Then it becomes a wishy-washy romantic drama.

What's up with his accent, though?
