Hey Roz, is your Team in a pennant race this year?
Don't ask me why I have decided that you live in Ohio, because I haven't the slightest clue. All I know about that is I have held this notion in my head for years...
Based on that ideation, I figure you might be either an Indians and/or Reds fan.
The Royals 2022 Home Opener is against the Indians on April 7th-11th:
Royals 2022 .pdf scheduleWe play them four more times; @Indians May 30th-June 1st, @Royals July 8th-10th, @Royals September 5th-7th, @Indians September 30th-October 1st.
The Royals do not have any games against the Reds this year.
Saint Louis
-<*spit*>- does; @Cardinals April 7th-11th, @Reds April 22nd-24th, @Cardinals June 10th-12th, @Cardinals July 15th-17th, @Reds July 22nd-24th, @Reds August 29th-31st, and @Cardinals September 15th-18th.
The Cardinals 2022 Regular Season Schedule <--
The Cardinals' online schedule sucks: you can't see the whole season on one page (
unless you like a "list view" I think this only further highlights how much Saint Louis sucks in general, I digress...) so you will have to pick the month from the drop-down box to see all the games.
I suppose I should ask the question that the thread title implies should be in this post:
Hey Roz, do you want to watch a baseball game with me somewhere this (2022) season?I think between the KC Royals (
AL) & STL Cardinals (
NL) every single major league team will be passing through Missouri this year, so if you aren't a fan of either Ohio team there are other options...
Personally, I prefer a day game starting either at Noon or 3pm: something about baseball under artificial light bothers me and/or my eyes.
There are, of course, myriad minor league teams out there to go see as well.
I think the Royals farm team is in Omaha, NE.
I have also been known to visit the
Saint Joeseph Mustangs on occasion, they are CHEAP (beer & tickets) and usually you get to see some fun baseball, pretty sure they aren't a MLB team, some wierd Industrial League. St. Joe could be fun, I know of a little steakhouse I want to try out up there: I think they serve salads and such so you could
probably find something on the menu to eat there (if not you can have my potato).
Speaking of steak, there is also
The Kansas City T-bones/Monarchs they are the Monarchs now, but originally they were the T-bones. These guys aren't MLB either,
and they have the unfortunate fact that they are technically a Kansas
-<*spit*>- team going against them. Also, the stadium prices (tickets/beer) are mysteriously at a MLB premium level. I have been there once or twice when they were the T-bones and it was a good time.

Play Ball!
Yours,
