Non-violent, peaceful, cowardly activity may now continue as normal. What can I say? These particular dudes with bells are kinda slow.
Also, it is expected that cowards will continue to hunker down in place, given that... well, that's what cowards do. At least, from what I've seen. They also show up at night and ignore protocol, but a fair number of vegetarian bats will do this as well, so it is important not to discriminate.
