On Monday, February 14, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau invoked the Emergencies Act for the first time in Canadian history.

The decision was made in response to the ongoing blockades and protests against the government's COVID-19 mandates and restrictions.

This Act empowers law enforcement with the means to manage the Freedom Convoy protesters in Ottawa by whatever means possible and allows the federal government to override the provinces by authorizing special measures to ensure safety during "national emergencies".

Canada is not currently facing a national emergency. In fact, the Freedom Convoy has been nothing but peaceful since its conception.

Parliament still has the power to revoke this Act, so let's ensure they use their authority to rescind Trudeau's unprecedented abuse of power.

To be fair to the little pussy- people not only doxed him, posted his phone number, name and address, but even went so far as to post a real estate walk through so others could get the layout of his apartment / house. He probably has reason to worry being as his work as destroyed individuals and many of them are veterans and others who are not just keyboard warriors.

Various media outlets are posting names and even addresses of individuals who were even small donors. Global on the east coast posted the name of a company who donated $250 as well as the address. When they realized they got the address wrong, they printed a correction to give the correct address (funny how they will not print a correction when they fuck up any other story.)

People have had their businesses ruined, been physically threatened, been doxed by the media, had their bank accounts frozen, their insurance revoked and are facing arrest for making a small donation to a "freedom convoy." So while the guy is undoubtedly being harassed, it is difficult to feel too sorry for him.
