Were you born to disagree with me?

Sandals are NOT Hip Hop, son.

A psyop is hip hop to convince white people to give up their identity and become subservient to black gangster culture. It killed all other pop music in drive-bys.

Do you ever get the feeling that Hip-Hop can only exist because it’s being funded by some nefarious entity in a vast conspiracy to confuse and disorient the public?

Because if you do, you’d be exactly right.

Apparently it was an operation to convince people how great America must be if any idiot could become rich by rhyming a few words together in a static rhythm.

Rap used to undermine Cuban govt

Hip-Hop used to Infiltrated

Modern art used as a propaganda weapon

Hmmm... Several days ago I left the house in dark brown Birks and black socks. Is that also now fashionable? To be fair, it was night, and it was only to drive to work to fill out a report that could not wait...

Also, fucking bastard drivers. First actual crash on unicycle today. My app shows 42 Kmph with a sudden fall to 0, but I was probably down to 35 by the time the bastard cut me off and forced me into an entrance. A double curb on the other side of the entrance launched me airborne, and I came down bruising a heel, blackening my big toe nail (good thing socks are now OK with sandals), beating the crap out of my wrist guards and scraping the chin on the helmet. It did not "hit" the ground, but it did scrape it a little. I landed on my feet (hence the bruised heel). But you cannot outrun 40 Kmph (or even 35.)

That leads me to my biggest concern (aside from the cracked pedals.) Is a scrape on a helnet seen as sexy? Proof that one has rode hard enough to cause a scrape- or is it seen as a show of weakness that you hit the ground? I'm really concerned with my fashion sense if I show my face in public with a scraped helmet (at least I still have a face to show.)

To anybody how is wondering, my wrist guards took the brunt of the scraping. I got up, checked that I was not broken, got back on the unicycle and did not even look back at the fucker in the car. (Actually I had my hand on his hood keeping myself from getting run over and it was too high for a car. Maybe a SUV?) I figured that I would probably not control my temper if the fucker argued and chose to just keep going without comment.

In some perfectly normal alternate universe there was a video on GooTube that showed a progression as Men age and their clothing choices (or habits) for such a pilgrammage(sp).

Apparently, that video was destined for the video/memory-hole.  The current vidya (h/t PhDork Medical Doctor Medical Doctor) truth seems to be thus:

Which is an awful revisionist historical replacement for the original Manly Vidya that clearly documented that as Men age they care less and less about what sort of shoes or (gag) make-up they are wearing, the project at hand demands a 3/17 thread (standard NOT metric) Wood-screw...

Pardon me, but we are in the machine-screw aisle young man:  are you certain we will find what I need for my project?

NEVER MIND MY OIL-STAINED TOGA, OR HOW IT DOES NOT COMPLEMENT MY COMBAT BOOTS (original black leather, NOT suede):  YOU BRING ME TO THE MACHINE SCREW SECTION WHEN I SPECIFICALLY INDICATED WOOD SCREWS--never you mind child (man-child or lady-child?  who knows anymore, is this a hardware store?  It BARELY rhymes!)

I should apply for a job hear, but wait:  apparently one gets what one pays for...  TANJ-it!!!!

I seem to have lost track;  young cis-gender, are the Depends near or far from the Cabbage-heads in this fyne 'stablishmint?

Helmet scrapes can look bad ass but you have to come by them naturally.

Nah. The Việt Minh look is the thing this spring out on the wrong coast. He is just keeping up with the Phams. Wait until you see his new spring hat.

There's enough sadness in life without people like K_Dubb waltzing around in black pyjamas.

Hmmm... Several days ago I left the house in dark brown Birks and black socks. Is that also now fashionable? To be fair, it was night, and it was only to drive to work to fill out a report that could not wait...

I have not seen it done with black socks yet.  This trend began last year with crisp plain white tube socks showing under high-water pants (you will notice skinny jeans are a thing of the past, sadly, though I am clinging desperately to mine) worn with minimalist canvas sneakers, also in white, and it has now moved to what you see here.  The point appears to be the gleeful flouting of convention, with the white sock showing you are being playfully provocative rather than subfusc about it.

That said, I believe you could cite this style (this happens to be my personal style god, a male supermodel veteran of Paris and Milan) should anyone hassle you about them.  As with the New Mullet, to which I drew everyone's attention on bellgab (I believe) I am interested in high fashion courting/drawing inspiration from the deeply unfashionable, as it always does.
