I have wondered about the whole drive through thing. At the boarder, they were offering shots for the truckers. Given how many people have a not so good reaction, I wonder how many truckers there are out there driving in the state you presently find yourself in?
The Blackfoot nation was very neighbourly and was offering their excess vaccines to Canadians. You drove across the boarder, stayed in your car, got your shot and drove home. The Canadian government decided that was still "international travel" and you had to quarantine for two weeks.
So the Blackfoot nation shut it down and basically said the government sucked (what else is new) and was dumb (same question as before.) If the idiots in Ottawa want Canadians vaccinated, and people are willing to drive a few hours, and there is excess supply, then why be little tyrants? I heard an interview where the Canadians want the vaccine to be sent here for our health care workers to give it. I would sooner go to the Blackfoot nation just to piss of the government who wants to look like they are able to provide everything for their citizens rather than give a little thanks to our neighbours.

Getting my second shot the clinic was dead with easily twice as many people running it as getting poked. I heard them talking about shutting down and debating whether to continue to give people first doses when they won't be around to give the second. And we have the bigger clinics shutting down all over the city, distribution will now be mostly through pharmacies where people are used to going anyway, just like the flu shot.
T+39 hours: aches are gone, just some residual shivers between my shoulder blades, but now I have a knot in my stomach, probably because I didn't eat anything yesterday. Despite the cytokine storm raging in my scrotum with spike proteins slashing right and left, the boys seem fine and everything still works, I didn't notice a vas deferens hahhaa
