Employed Full Time and Homeless
« on: December 06, 2021, 05:49:53 PM »
I am employed full time and homeless in NYC. Who else either lives this lit city lifestyle or knows of someone who also lives a lit city homeless lifestyle with a balance in their savings/checking account (a rapidly growing one - no rent/mortgage payments and no car payments or associated expenses). New York winters can be bad with the cold weather and snow but that’s why there are portable, battery operated space heaters.

Buh!

Where’s your God now? I mean, since you don’t believe in all that garbage shouldn’t you just be using reason to get you out of this predicament? I thought atheists had AlLL the answers. Lame. ::)

But it’s not a predicament. It is my preferred living arrangement. And no, there is no god. I don’t know what you even mean by your reply. I was simply inquiring if anybody keeps their assets mobile too?????

Sure, I see homeless people pushing their stuff around in shopping carts all the time.

It’s not that atheists have all the answers, it’s the realization of atheists that all we have is our own answers. We don’t need an invisible, make believe friend who doubles as our “bah bah” to cling on to and run from things that NOBODY but ourselves can get ourselves out of (or conversely in-to).

Simply asking a question. Keep your subconscious out of the answer.

So does anybody live this lit city lifestyle??

You know nothing. There are people who are homeless who work and have a system. I have spoken to at least one person I ran into in the subway on Rector Street who works downtown and is homeless. He actually engaged me first.

Like I said. You know nothing.

Best of luck being homeless in the winter in NYC then. I’m sure you’ll figure it out without God’s help. There’s such a big, compassionate atheist community there.

Thanks for the laugh.

There are people who work Wall Street jobs walking around clean cut and in business suits but take the A Train to 175th Street and Fort Washington Avenue and walk across the bridge and live off the Long Path Trail along the Palisades Cliffs in Fort Lee, Englewood, Alpine NJ etc.

I know because some of those areas are my favorite spots to pitch my tent 🏕🥳

I’m not asking for help dummie. Just inquiring about how others here might live. No atheists aren’t weak. People who cling onto their invisible bah bah are.

Is that all?
