Maybe that is a big part of it. I grew up in the punk scene. Anarchy and outright hatred of everything that "straight" society stood for was not uncommon. I confess that I'm not positive if I feel any sense of "civic duty" at all. Like I said, I didn't now out when it was tearing through my workplace. That was more a sense of decency than anything related to "civic duty."
Oh, I also looked at the whole fetus stem cell thing. J+J and Astrazenica use them for production. All of them were using them for research, testing and the likes. And that was an article in ABC news- I didn't have to go to any conspiracy websites. They are quite proud of their new science...
First of all, punk is HAWT. I love the sneer, the swagger, the tendency to stick sharp things through your nipples 👀 I am sure that, in true punk style, you will embrace with a rebel vengeance the mask you must now wear in perpetuity as an unclean beast, maybe, as seen on all the runways this year, with studsss...

However worrying that it will mark you out like a yellow star does nothing to dispel my secret conviction that all that posturing conceals a sad scared little baby who just needs someone to hold him and love him and bake him Trump cookies and tell him everything will be ok, you guys are so cuute 💕

I don't like abortion either but it seems to me this is a case of sifting through the remains of innocent humans otherwise discarded like garbage and making something useful. The moral question is far from settled. I wonder how many people owe their lives to that poor creature from 1972 or whenever. If it skeeves you out to profit thereby, reflect that we Christians stake our eternal souls on the cruel sacrifice of a perfect Innocent a couple thousand years ago.
