Cool tunes, Colonel Manly. Do you listen to this when you study botany or cook? Masturbate or sex? Please don't tell me this is your workout music.

To my knowledge, Colonel Manly studies our parallel thyme line in his capacity as an Intelligence Officer in his thyme line.  I am not entirely clear that he is currently "in" 2021 in his thyme line.  I get the feeling that he is a few years ahead of us, although he has spoken of Mars colonies where some sort of war is going on, space travel, the invention of radio at some point in the 1800s in his universe, and several other things that don't quite line up with "ours."

To be sure, I believe (but have no evidence for this theory) that there might be several different Colonel Pate Manlys (Manlies?) in several different discrete thyme lines that have visited both BellGab and now Azzgab over the years.

It may even be that it is a completely different Col. Manly that visits "our" thyme line each time (hey that sort of rhymes!)?  That is just one of my working theories about him.

I was not aware that he studied botany, although as a parallel "me" as it were, it is certainly within the realm of possibility that he shares that interest that I have.

Anyhow, I have a question for you:  why do you want to know if he listens to music while he either masturbates or has sex?  That seems rather odd, not that there is anything wrong with that.

For myself, I generally do not listen to music when I am pursuing any of those listed activities, the same may not hold true for Col Manly.  I listen to music when I am listening to music to the exclusion of anything else.

Unless it is live music, but then I generally don't masturbate, study botany, cook or have sex at live shows either.  That would be a bit weird, I think, not that there is anything wrong with that either.

Based on your most recent musical meanderings, I thought you might get a kick out of this:

I am Nautical Shore if I have heard that one yet, it seems like a longer version of "Thyme becomes" by the same artist:

Hah, at the end of that one above this was suggested for further listening:

I read it as ""Mighty Dubb," hah.  I hope it doesn't suck!

Thanks, Pate. I'll give the jingle a listen and report back in thyme.  :D

Meh, not really my thing, Pate. I'm not really into techno or dubstep, not that there's anything wrong with that. Hey, with enough of the right narcotic, anything will sound interesting. I like the "Mighty Dubb" song the best.

I have my eurorack set up to interface with more traditional melodies and mainly use it for outboard effects.

Thanks for sharing, bud!
