Part of an email that I sent to my mother and sister tonight. As some background, I had tried really hard to have dad be an organ donor when he lingered in a coma. It was not allowed because they would not take his "healthy" organs and when you discontinue care his kidneys shut down and poisoned everything usable. Wow, I can't believe how shitty I feel right now. But what is the alternative? To be used for parts only for the virtuous vaxxed because their lives "matter" (and are worth more.)
"As of now, I would ask that my organs rot in the ground with me- I no longer wish to be a donor. If I can sign in to specifically revoke consent as an organ donor so that nobody has to be asked if I pass away, I will. I trust that if things go back to normal and I forget to send an update, you will know that my wish is to be an organ donor- provided that EVERYBODY is able to benefit equally and without discrimination.
Canada has now decided that you need to be double vaxed to be a transplant recipient. While I think you both know that until today it would be my sincere wish to provide life- that only applies in a world where anybody can benefit. Not in a world of segregation and discriminatory practices..."
