Today I learned that in this dimension humans have not yet set foot on Ares.

I think it has to do with the petty political divisions you have distracted yourselves with for the past 50 years.  I would say that you are lucky to not have an existential enemy to face, but I see what you do with that absence and perhaps it is a tragedy.

Alan Mucks seems to be on the korrect track, I will not bore you with deets about his counterpart in my alternated dimension.

Elon Musk had his employees hijack the car cameras and spy on drivers. He especially loves doing it to see celebrities and there are several files of people having sex in their cars.

That is, of course, a very Gnostic thing to say.  The Gnostics, who believed that eternal salvation came from the secret teachings of hidden knowledge (Gnostics = the Knowers) rather than by faith, were one of the earliest and most pernicious heresies faced by the church, and Evangelicals in particular still have an appalling tendency to look for more and additional hidden truths in their usual parade of frauds and scammers and batshit insane and peddlers in esoterica, I have heard it all my life.  That is how you get bullshit like this:

It is always about the shekel.  Keep reading after John 3:16:

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  --John 3:17-19

The Star Trek tractor beam is real, at least conceptually.

My exterior elderly-self says; "Cool!  I love Star Trek.  Where the fuck is Captain Kirk?"
My interior forever-self says; "Cool!  Looks sexy.  Where the fuck is Captain Kirk?"

...how to make concrete, if only I could find some Volcanic Ash locally I could finally realize my dream of going fully "off-grid."

Does anyone know of a substitute for Volcanic Ash that I could find in the Midwest?  I think the nearest (ancient) volcano is somewhere in Arkansas/Southern Missouri and I imagine there isn't any easily accessible Volcanic Ash left down there anymore...

Still, this was good information, I have long intended to do some research on this very subject and happily this random Intar-Tube Vidya dude has saved me some valuable thyme.

That is all, Carrie Anne.
