After watching some racial propaganda on commercial TV about the Kendrick Lamar song and video Alright I started thinking about why it’s so easy for black people to move into this mental space of groupthink. Is it just cuz slavery? As a white person I’ve never really thought of white people as thinking and acting all the same way. Believe it or not a lot of them I don’t actually agree with or even like. I’ve never really thought of white people as moving as a cohesive unit. I don’t think I’d want to or that it’s a healthy state of mind. Frankly, it’s delusional. And yet we’re constanly told that all black people unite behind Obama and this song:
