A lot fewer protesters for the last 3 weeks. The mayor has got a legal injunction that says that protesters cannot use "amplified devices" in a public park, nobody can honk, and marching is now illegal.

So, the protest moved to city hall (not a park) and they have taken to arresting pastors who preach on a megaphone while feeding the homeless and arrested a trucker and towed his truck because he honked. So a lot of the people who were coming out simply stopped.

It's honestly sad. To me- if a politician says "don't protest" it means that I need to be in the streets. But it seems that there are a lot of "good" people who follow the rules. It was honestly a little depressing to see the crowd go from over 15,000 a few weeks ago to probably under 1,000 last week.

The mayor and counselors have used both the legal system to get an injunction as well as the mainstream media to vilify protesters. I suppose if you call somebody a racist, they may decide to stay home. Also, many of the mandates are lifted. So it would seem that some people would sooner to out to an indoor event or meal than protest for their remaining freedoms.

It was actually the British army (that burned the White House), but Canadians always wanted the credit after the Americans burned the hell out of Toronto.

The Americans destroyed Toronto because all the Canadians had was a scorched earth strategy and they left behind a booby-trapped arsenal the Americans fell for.

Canada exists because they wanted to be independent from the USA.
The USA has always wanted to invade/conquer/absorb Canada,
but all they have to do now is threaten to shut the border.
Many Quebecois still want to be independent from the rest of Canada.
Many Brits don't even believe Canada exists (as an independent country).
For that matter, Russia doesn't believe Canada exists either.
