Well, my mother has went from the camp of "I don't think I want the vaccine yet" to "I think maybe I should get it." I actually refuse to try to influence her one way or the other. She is of the age where you start to incur some risk. I'm pretty sure I would still be saying "shove your vax", but I have said from the start that everybody needs to make their own decisions.
She knows enough anti vaxers that I don't feel it necessary to give her that side. Actually tonight I told her that one of the videos her friend sent her was crap. It was a "doctor" saying that the vaccine cannot work because covid affects your lungs and the vaccine does not go to your lungs." I gently pointed out that the virus is throughout your body and symptoms manifest in the lungs. I mean, if your going to be giving her reasons to not be vaccinated, at least make sure that they are actual (possible) reasons and not 100% BS...
