K_Dubb, lay some well performed Bach on me, something highly contrapuntal, please. I could use it.

Ok here, I think I posted this once years ago, proof Bach had a wicked sense of humor:  that is the most ridiculous fugue subject I think he wrote (toodle oodle oodle oodle oodle oodle oodle oodle oo hahha), you can just see him laughing in the organ loft.  She takes the prelude a little tamer than some people but the fugue is 🔥 and unlike some fussy old purists she changes stops on the fly including the pedal(!) and freely switches manuals for the echo for god's sake you have two, might as well use them, I am sure Bach did.

No! No more organ (though nice it is in the church thread). I want strings, baby!

Well he didn't write too much for just strings I can think of beyond the third and sixth Brandenburg concertos.  How about Handel's counterpoint?  This is another fun silly fugue subject (at 1:30), just a single repeated note

Are you sure Master T wants to prance about like a peahen, or meditate beside calm waters?

My preference would be for the latter.

Well he asked for counterpoint so I was thinking of fugal movements, the Water Music is mostly made up of dances.  There is a fugue-ish piece at 29:43 though, good job!

Nautical Shore if the above is "contra-punctual" but it sure seems syncopated.
