Walks speaking of destroyer gray you probably saw this already but this guy makes an interesting point I never heard before about why Navy ships are still painted gray when visual camouflage isn't a thing any more, in the context of discussing the profligate decoration on old warships like the Vasa -- he is with the museum in Stockholm.

Also his suit and watch fob are killer and he's sitting in a replica of the Vasa's cabin like a boss with a giant lump on his forehead like just don't care and I have rarely seen anything more thrilling!

I actually didn't see this one as of yet.  Been busy with work stuff and I've been limited mostly to Senda and my new idol, the Night Terrors guy.  I watched his the portion you pointed out and it does make perfect sense. On the other hand, I kept wanting to poke that bulge with a needle.

The yellow scourge that is pine pollen is finally starting to let up a tad here.  That means that prime car washing season is almost here!
I've used Meguiar's car care products forever and am especially fond of their Gold Class wash.  I've heard good things about Griot's. Any of you manly men use Griot's Garage products?

I haven't tried that but I do use Meguiar's because that is what my uncle who is a car guy and runs an auto-parts store recommended.

Really? Now we are going down this road? Fine. Get a clay bar (if you do not already have one.) It really does make a difference before you wax. Also, use it on your windshield followed by a coat of wax and you will not need wipers for a month. Probably the best thing I ever did...

I am big proponent of the clay bar. Makes for a long day. Prelim wash. Clay bar. Main wash. Wax. Buff. Polish.  At least when you are done, you know that you've actually done something.

You clay the windshield too?  Never heard nor even thought of that.  I'm intrigued.

Boltr = Bored Of Lame Tool Reviews

All of the power tool reviewers are paid by tool manufacturers, it's sad. AvE actually tears them apart and looks at how well they are made. Most of the time they don't make it to the the healing bench and end up a part of his mat.
