Theres a tv station here similar to antennatv or metv called chch that shows old tv shows in the afternoon. Many of the episodes have trigger warnings
“The following presentation is a product of its time. It depicts prejudices that were wrong then and remain unacceptable today. CHCH does not condone discrimination of any kind.

“Rather than ignoring past discriminatory practices, exhibiting work like this allows viewers to engage in thought or discussion that educates and promotes the importance of social justice and inclusivity. Viewer discretion is advised.”

An example was an episode of the Odd Couple where Oscar wanted an eskimo to play football while Felix wants him to play cello in an orchestra. Its weird because most of these shows like Maude and Good Times were considered super liberal at the time

Alberta did the same thing. Still 5,000 of us in the streets this weekend. I will say that federally, I still cannot get on a plane, a train or a boat. My passport is still revoked for all intents and purposes (and I can't travel freely in my own country.)

Not only that, but while they have temporarily removed the passports, they have almost promised that they will be back (Tam predicts lockdowns for a new variant in the fall.) They have not removed their ability to act unconstitutionally and to discriminate. Little potato (Turdeau) says that the financial powers are permanent. There is still a dictator in charge of the country and no freedom for the surfs.Pastor Pelowski and Tamara remain political prisoners and freedom of speech is still being made illegal under new legislation just introduced.

We have only started in this war for actual freedom.

Okotoks today... The two hoop dancers did another performance as well that was amazing. But this was to RC and Shingoose singing "home" that tugs at my heartstrings.  This was the first time that the hoop dancers had heard "home." Shirley is (I believe) a traditional hoop dancer, where as he is "freestyle." He said that he just could not time the ending (you can tell at the very end when he has to ramp up the energy again...)

This is the second time that this song was performed in Okotoks. The first time, my goggles got slightly foggy. This time with the dancers, the flags, the heavy truck and the horse mounted riders in the background I actually had to take a few steps back to get out of the crowd, turn my back, take my goggles off and dry my eyes.

*At 1:32 you will see me third from the left of the light pole.

It would be funny if the guy who claimed that the protestors were “enemies for life” was doxxed.

You have to go to the east coast for a performance like that.
