I got to see her speak once. She seemed like a very, very, normal person. Some of the other "organizers" were not- but she seemed genuinely nice.

We have Delvin Gangon in Calgary who the police punched and tazzed a few weeks back. One of the police tripped (5 feet from him) while arresting him. I'ts on film- but they charged him with "assaulting an officer" despite the video evidence. His conditions include not being at protests- a violation of his charter right to association (Art Pelowski has the same thing.)

Rights mean nothing in this "brave new world."

I did see that. There have been a few good court rulings lately (including one stating that the tickets given to mandate protesters are void. Protests are not "private gatherings" and were protected. So all of those tickets are dumped.) There is some hope.
