It would be good to free a people from their evil overlords and not just Liberal politicians but those calling the shots in London an Brussels, the CCP, etc.

You're literally sitting in a mud hut within 15 miles of my position and blathering about Jews in a British accent and you're using “I'm forced to do my job” as an excuse to cover for your career-long malfeasance(s).

Bold. Cavalier. Effective. Ī👁️👁️love💕¡†!

I hope you do as well; you broke it, yew bought īT.

This piece of propaganda is too stupid to be AI. The only award Will Barclay will ever receive is for the punkiest self-serving moose manure from a Canadian in that rag of the American Spectator.

Only MAGTURDS will swallow this crud...

Nautical Shore what you are talking about there, but for certain:  I wouldn't swallow this crud:

Canada (national gov't) seems awful, no wonder Albertans want to leave!

You hear the one about how they the hobo elite of Canada are using the MAID thing to harvest organs & such?

I thought that only happened in Communist China?

Doc, apogees for all this difficult-for-you-to-understand text:  you might enjoy that vidya up above, I picked it out special just for you, buddy!

Meh. Just another AI punk spreading US based bullshit to break up Canada.

AI deepfakes are getting really good, I suppose.  I would swear on a stack of Bibles + the original copy of the US Constitution that 'PJ the Belt' is a REAL person, in addition to that I would also solemnly aver that he is a honest-to-God Canadian (although I imagine he doesn't want to be a Canadian much longer...  HA!)!

So, we'll take it as a given that the above vidya is AI slop... What aboot this one:

Doc, do you have any thoughts?

ediot:  remove extraneous ' character before the word 'the' in the penultimate (not penultimate anymore?) line of text above.

Absent Mr. T and WOTR, from my Canadian brethren:

"Many Americans are salivating for a piece of the Great White North. They see Alberta as easy prey and a taste test for gutting the rest of the nation.

There has always been a nascent separatist sentiment in Alberta. The same could be said for Texas. There has always been a separatist calling for Quebec. The same could be said for Puerto Rico.

A recent poll shows very few Albertans would actually want to wreck the country. The movement is not just a group of grassroots kooks anymore. They are being fed and welcomed by longstanding American interests."

I don't have any family in Canada (maybe some distant ancestors from before we ended up in Louisanna from old Acadia or wherever that was up there), any actual Canadian I might know is only from there internet fame (WOTR included in that)...

I see far more actual day-to-day Canadians saying things like this one:

Than I do of the sort that say:

"This is fine!"

I personally don't salivate over Alberta (or any other chunk of Canada) actually becoming a US State, although as the founders once said:

"Friends of Liberty everywhere, but defender only of my own."

I wish anyone trying to get their little corner of the world out from under the "Canadian Heel" well in their endeavors!

From my experience, limited as it may be, cranky Albertans are a breed apart as far as Canadian temperament goes. Western Canada sentiment has always been a consequence of the population imbalance. It has been said Carney is governing like a "small C Conservative", understandably given minority status. My oracle suggests a snap spring election is unlikely. The main concern is trade and the economy. But if King Donald has his way with Gordie Howe, all bets are off.

Lazar,

Curious that you wish to ascribe a positive outcome in the affair to Trump.  No doubt, he will take credit for anything he sees as politically advantageous to his reputation in his normal amusing way.  You seem to credit him, perhaps erroneously, with some sort of positive agency vis à vis the Albertan Independence movement & the potential outcome.

I wonder if an examination of a sort of negative agency as a preposition to the possible outcome might serve you better?  Perhaps, if the blame is to be laid at the feet of any idealogical idol's altar;  we could say that the failure of the Clinton/Obama/COMINTERN the hobo elite economic policy might be a far better target for your political ire?  After all, Canada's economic problems clearly pre-date any notional Trumpian Monarchy, n'est-ce pas?

I would say that Eastern Canada's socialist largesse towards Albertan (Western Canada's) wealth into their own impoverished pockets over the years might be the primary agent driving the current political phenomenon we are witnessing, c'est pas vrai?

Doc, buddy, in case you have trouble with the above text, you might enjoy the following vidya:

I am suspicious that it might be AI slop, so hard to tell these days.  If so, it's a damn good one, very natural sounding voice... even has sub-titles (you don't have to read them, they are an accurate rendition of the spoken word).
