I think he wants to distance himself as far from bellgab as possible. He still obviously has aspirations to be a broadcaster and in the age of cancel culture the whole bellgab/HW shitstorm would be a career ender.  Vara(probably tipped off by Bart)really fucked him over by revealing his real name

Unfortunately not.

If memory serves, he said that he wanted to move away from the idea that his live streams on YouTube were "GabCasts."

It only really came up because I had made artwork for the shows which included the term "GabCast" in 'em.

Artwork which he said was not going to accompany the stream, because of the inclusion of the term.

This was (I think) right around the time we were prepping for the last stream he had me as a co-host on.

Notice the title only reads 'Azz and EmVee Live,' not "GabCast?"

But, no reasons given per se. I just know he wanted to move forward without the "the GabCast" moniker attached to the content in question.

Many artists/performers/broadcasters/whatever eventually develop contempt for their audience. Don't know the guy but I get the feeling he got fed up with all the drama and bullshit.  What started out as a comfy place for some loffs and shitposting turned into a giant burden
