While this show is from a couple weeks back, the answer is yes, MV is going to be doing some new YouTube live streams.

He reached out to me last month (approximately) via Skype, and alluded to having gone through some rough stuff - I'm not sure exactly what stuff - but yes, the GabCast is coming back, definitely.

I'll check my Skype today and see whether MV has sent me any new messages (I barely check my Skype).

All I know is that MV needed to "unplug" from everything because of a personal loss of some kind (maybe he lost a loved one). He reached out to me saying he'd like to catch up with me and have me on as a co-host on the comeback streams. Perhaps he'll have Richard on again as a co-host, too, in some of the new episodes ... I dunno.

I'll keep you up to speed on the news, as I learn more about what is to come.

Blasphemy! Need I remind you, that MV created this whole world? It originated with him - he conceived of - and carved out the blueprint of now well-loved forums we so keenly inhabit.

As for Metron: I don't see how Metron could serve as a producer when he doesn't even communicate with me. Plus, I'm only interested in producing content myself, and on my own terms. Collaborating with an ad-hoc "producer" seems like it'd pose more cons than pros. That's what you call complicating something that need not be complicated.

I know what I want to do as far as content goes, and I don't see myself running out of show ideas any time soon. Producers, in my view are of the old model, the boomer model. Any asshole who requires an entire team of staff to create an mp3 is largely lacking in talent, in my view.
