I told Jack I'm not giving up on him.

I don't give up on people.

I even extended an olive branch to DVR just a couple days ago.

I like to get along with people, I'm a sociable real live person who'd rather make friends than enemies.

But I always get depicted as the bad guy somehow.

Not always.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that may come from trying to please everyone all of the time. It seldom works.  I know.  That is a wall I've been banging my head against much of my life. :-[

You're not wrong.

I have some concerns about Jackstar's behaviour, but I think it'd be pretty rich coming from me to judge a kook.

I'm king of the kooks.

No? Well, I'm sorry. I honestly know how much you love Trump and even put a smiley face underneath the line "another knife in my back, this time from Starr," it was a weak attempt at a joke and something tells me Jack's sociopathy is rubbing off on me.

You spend to much time with that dude anyone can get their whole entire energy split.

I didn't see it at first.  I just went back to your post and sure enough, there it is.
Sorry, Azz.  My aging eyesight misses stuff like that sometimes. :-[

I'm glad you didn't see it, I was a naughty boy.

Do you think I'm any weirder than Jack is?

Am I that wacky?

I think of myself a certain way, but often the way we perceive ourselves is off some.

Wow, he gave you head?

Did he take his false teeth out?

I heard he and Starr share a pair.

LMFAO!  That's FUNNY! ;D

Always looking on the bright side, you.

Call it, 'self-preservation', considering what's on the other side.

Remember to check your messages before you leave today.

You have no clue how much I wanted to respond to this one, Starr. Twas but for the sake of your surprise upon entering this domain, I refrained. :-X

I figured you had some catching up to do. ???

Have you ever played Viking chess?

At the start of the game the King is trapped in the center
and, against all odds, must fight his way out to the edge.
This is an allegory of the Viking state of mind.
Our fate is sealed. All we can do is die a hero.

I can pretend to be Jacko answering this if you'd like.

The intention was that Jack would find his way out of zugzwang.

That is, get off the pot and make a move, even if it hurts.

He's never played Viking chess anyway. He's living it.

Well, in that case, I'm sure he'll convince himself that we deserve forgiveness and make his way back to the boards for a good chastising.

As for the game itself, it was clearly developed by someone that sucked at actual chess.
