I should add that a lot of us are anti-mandate. But most of us know that it is about MUCH more than mandates ending. It is about a broken system- about something that failed us for a decade, and is irredeemable. (And failed us even more over the last two years.)

Erin O'Tool (leader of the Canadian Conservatives) was booted by his own party today. People are saying if a "good" leader takes over it is great. Many of us recognize that a good leader will still lead a party of spineless fuckers who did NOTHING over the last two years. One person is not enough. It is not just O'Tool, it is not just Justine, it is not just Dr. Tam. It is a system so rotten that it can no longer stand.

Yes- no mandates. But also, tear down the broken system, cut out the rot. Make it impossible to happen again. No more lock downs ever, no mandates, no impotent politicians. No more division, no more corporate state, no more "leaders" working against the people for their own benefit and profit.

So, what you are trying to say is that because we only "half assed" the lockdowns, it killed people. If only we were more strict and enforced them better, maybe "grandma" would be alive today and we could have saved more than that .2%?
