"Over the past 10 years I have worked as a board-certified Emergency Physician in Louisiana.  Shortly after the Pfizer mRNA COVID-19 vaccines received FDA approval my hospital mandated COVID-19 vaccines for all employees. Exemption requests were due by September 21, 2021.

Well, that was an interesting approach. I kind of approve (and I'm glad that he was granted the exemption.)

Do you know who viva frei is? I have seen his name around in a few places, but I really don't know his story.

On a side note, I'm supposed to go back to weekly Covid testing again. Once the three months has passed from a Covid infection, unvaxxed employees are supposed to return to weekly at home testing and monthly PCR paid testing.

I'm having a little bit of a problem with this. It was fine when the exemption was granted. But I was infected by a vaxxed person- and in addition to myself, two other vaxxed employees came down with it. I am the only one in my company in Canada (apparently) who was granted an exemption. So I'm the only one who needs to test. And for what? Presumably to keep the other employees who are all vaxxed safe from my "unclean" person.

I mean, I did sign that I would test. And I did. But now I have as much (if not better) immunity than my vaxxed coworkers. So where before it was almost a punitive measure meant to separate me and remind me of my status as "not quite equal" in my humanity, at last I could convince myself that it was somebody's misguided attempt to keep other staff members safe. Now I have a tough time believing that anybody really accepts that it serves any purpose other than fulfilling a pointless policy.

Is it all saliva tests? I wouldn't want any swabbing.
The place I worked before is still testing employees who did not take the shot every 4 days.
Do you feel like fighting your employer on this?

They got my attention with “Tevin,” but now they have my interest with Tuskegee. Now, I guess I'm going to go buy me some reefer & another pellet smoker grill.

Exit stage portal.
