Why would he? You look at the flood, Sodom and Gomorrah and other judgement events, and the only way he would change his mind is if the population repented and turned to him. Instead of that, the world has turned to science.

Now, if you believe this is a major depopulation event, then I can't see why God would step in to avert it. Regardless if it is Covid that mutates and takes out the vaxed and unvaxxed alike, Covid that mutates and only takes out those without a double jab, or if it is the vaccination that does them in. No matter the outcome, it does not seem that the world has suddenly turned to him. Instead, we have turned to the new gods on the block. Science, politicians, and Fauchi begging them to save us.

Heaven knows that he / she would have the training, expertise and access to pertinent information to make such a declaration.
