How did I miss this interview? I saw his (very good) article on zerohedge a few days back. I find it endlessly amusing that zerohedge publishes Chris Hedges and their wikipedia page still describes them as "far-right libertarian" and says their content includes "conspiracy theories and fringe rhetoric advancing radical right, alt-right..."
I've said before that the right has become the left. When you are publishing an article condemning war and the military industrial complex it USED to be left. If you read Hedge's books, he is a supporter of actual socialist parties. But now his opinions are portrayed as "right" presumably because many of his positions are held by today's "right" including privacy rights, dislike of government overreach, anit-war, the capture of the media by government.
(Full disclosure- I don't agree with many of his positions- gun control, student loan forgiveness, socialism. But it does not stop him from having many positions that I agree with.) Also, I love that Doore recognizes that Trump is the anti-war candidate compared to the "left."
