Oh, relax. Have a fresh baked Biden cookie (to go with the freshly baked Biden...)

I can almost guarantee that the Republipukes want no part in anybody wearing a mask to protect them. The blame for that has to be left with your left wing political figures.

Have you not noticed that a tactic of the left is to just keep it general and say that the right lies? About what specifically they never really say. Just as long as they can keep hammering home the accusation that their opposition are liars until it sticks.

Here, I hope you are happy, the second-most-vaccinated city in the country must keep wearing masks  >:( >:( >:( >:(

Why should I be wearing a mask in indoor public spaces if I’m fully vaccinated?
We agree that COVID-19 vaccines give high protection against infection and spreading the virus to others, and unvaccinated people are the ones at risk to acquire and spread COVID-19.

In stores and other public spaces, if we say only unvaccinated people need to wear a mask, we have no way to know who is vaccinated and who isn’t, and it’s impractical for businesses to determine that.

If unvaccinated people do not wear masks, the risk for COVID-19 spread increases. So, from a practical and community health perspective, the most reliable way to ensure everyone is safe is for everyone to wear a face mask for a few more weeks, until we get vaccination rates higher and disease rates lower.

Basically we know you guys will lie about it.  It's official, Republicans are the virus ! ! !

I love it, I no longer have to depend on Trump to piss off Democrats:  I can do that myself by just not wearing a mask.  I don't even have to actually talk to them, which is another bonus.

Had to go into the office today to clean out all my stuff.  They are making everyone do it on a staggered schedule. The white shoe boys are up to something but no one knows what exactly.  Right before the crud happened they ripped out our cubicles that were naturally socially distanced and put in that open landscape shit where you pack as many dudes as possible at a table like below:

It was basically a vat for virus and bacteria. One theory is that they are gonna rearrange that shit in a socially distant manner and make  people come in for two days a week. The other leading theory is that they are just gonna bag it and try and sell all that stuff and just leave us at home forever more. Productivity has been way, way up this past year as guys seem to be working during the time they would have been commuting and sick days are way down [like 85%] as you don't have a pack of dudes at a table coughing and gacking on each other.

I'd imagine the local governments are putting the heat on companies to get folks back as it is a revenue hit - less commuting is less gas tax revenue, less sales tax on shit like tires and auto wear and tear plus less sales tax from lunch joints.

The fact that you need to continue wearing masks seems very much related to the political leanings of the public officials you elected.  :P

I have a question for you. Why is it that for the last year I was not allowed to question Dr. Fauchi, not allowed to question the guidance of the CDC, not allowed to disagree with the public health officials? But now, suddenly, it is all the rage to disagree with the science- it is fine to say that the CDC is "mistaken" in their easing mask mandates? It is fashionable to ignore what Saint Fauchi decrees? And you can do so without being cancelled...

Why is it that suddenly your elected officials are willing to ignore the science and rely on their intuition? I find it absolutely hilarious what people are willing to back. "Damn it, I demand that we remain locked in our houses and masked and socially distanced! Anything less would be barbaric (regardless of what the CDC tells me...)"

*Besides, I thought only a few posts back, you were telling me that you didn't mind the masks at all. Why so upset now?

BAH open offices are the devil's playground!  The one good thing this whole thing has done is put an end to the dreaded snap meetings where your idiot ADHD manager can look out on the sea of faces and, on a whim, bother everyone up for an hour with the latest inane thought that fluttered in and alighted in his peabrain.
