I respect your beliefs. And I should not be downing you for having them.
I think you can tell I have a checkered history with the church, and those who call themselves Christian.
I take back my disrespect toward your faith.
Its not my place to do that.
I don't think that you were insulting MT. You simply stated that you did not care for Christianity- and that seems fair enough. Disrespecting somebody's faith is not the same thing as disrespecting them.
As for your question on trolling vs. Christianity (which I think went unanswered); why are the two not compatible? Nowhere have I read the command "thou shalt not troll." I think it depends on how it is done, and what the goals are. If it is simply saying "your are an idiot, and I hate you"- well... That is not really "trolling." If it is to point out disconnects in logic, actions, or even make political points I don't see the problem. Consider some forms of trolling overturning the tables of the money exchangers in the temple or even partying with a tax collector and hookers rather than the pious exalted leaders. *
I have not usually seen MT being overly "evil." Even tossing poor old Dubb from a roof regularly was (I think) done with a sense of twisted humour rather than malice.
*But I may be wrong...
