After reading about four pages of clunky writing I sat back and wondered 'why!?' Why would Art get so fanboi over it? The answer was on the inside back cover, lol. The author is Asian, part Chinese.



After my eyes rested from some serious eyerolling I finished the book. It didn't get any better. I mean, skilled writers can get away with writing scenes where you have to suspend disbelief for a moment but let's just say she's no Michael Chrichton (another author with a medical background). Also, the characters were supposed to be different people but you couldn't tell by their dialogue. They all talked like the same person.

Anyway, luckily I only wasted like $2 on one of Art's suggestions. I remember this one person's post on Bellgab, he was lamenting that he bought $5000 worth of dehydrated survival food because he believed Art's prediction that everything was going to go to hell on January 1st 2000. He couldn't resell it and no one wants to eat that shit unless the only other option is death.
