What mutation problem?  If I need another shot next year, I'll get it, you giant pussy.  Unless you mean the mutating nanobots rampaging through my balls, nothing I can do about that now  :-\

You’re going to get a vaccine for every possible variation?! That’s a lot of needles. At least being as simple as you are spares you from the pain of actually having to think things through.

Of course I would not.  I think the old people waving out the windows of the nursing homes is one of the saddest things I have seen.  That was unspeakably cruel.

Fascism is like that.

Fascism is like that.

But tear-gassing a group of peaceful protesters just so Trump can pose with a Bible is just peachy.

No you dummy, the current vaxxes seem to protect against the known variations.  If variations show up that have mutated beyond recognition (which is why everyone is watching the Seychelles closely) they will probably make new ones, or batch them like they do for the various strains of flu every year.  They are testing one now that might protect against all coronaviruses.

Quote
"What's been mutating in the pandemic has been the spike protein, which alters the transmissibility of the virus and can alter its ability to resist either the immunity acquired by natural infection or vaccination.

"The difference between our technology and most others is that as well as targeting the spike protein, we have another specificity in our vaccine which targets the nucleocapsid protein.  This is the body of the virus.

"We don't think it mutates as much as the spike protein, so there's a chance it could work across different variants irrespective o the spike protein mutations."

Since the common cold is a coronavirus, I wonder if this could do away with that nuisance, too.

There are plenty of commies who don't want to let go, too  ;D

The middle finger, dirty looks and yelling: S.F. mask shamers are still going strong

Quote
Dr. Susan Philip, the health officer who’s responsible for writing the city’s health orders related to COVID-19, said she’s heard several reports from San Franciscans about ditching their masks and facing derision because of it. And she has a message for city residents: Nobody needs to play the Mask Cop.

“They’re getting dirty looks. They’re getting yelled at, and they’re feeling very uncomfortable in their neighborhoods following our recommendations,” she said. “We want to make sure that everyone understands that this is permitted. We want people in the city to feel comfortable removing their masks.”

The Department of Public Health shared a particularly eye-popping email from a Glen Park resident who insisted on anonymity in this column “because of how irrational people can be about this particular topic.”

His email described going on two short walks without masks after the CDC said that was fine. On one walk, a woman screamed, “COVID is real, and people die!” On the other, somebody flipped him off and said, “Why don’t you move?” even though he’s lived in the city for more than 15 years.

Rioters are by definition not peaceful. Enough of your silly language games.

LOL! I’m the dummy?! The reason there isn’t a vaccine for the common cold and won’t be is just what I’m talking about. A little PBS in your case is a dangerous thing. I look forward to watching you tap dance around this issue over the following months. It’s going to be fun to watch you be a mouthpiece for the establishment while still desperately trying to seem hip, relevant and informed.  ;D

There's never been this kind of money or attention behind it before because the cold is just a nuisance, not a plague that shut down half the globe.  Pan-coronavirus vaccine means everything.

I really think they need to start marketing it differently.  Call it an anti-government vaccine, because it makes nannying health officers and the politicians who have embraced them lately go away and mind their own business.  That's what Trump would do.

Just classify any protest as a riot and then bring in the troops. That's fascism. You've led a soft life and don't recognise fascism while it's coiling itself around you like Laocoon.

At least he tried. It could have been boxing gloves.

Nah. Best bet is to pawn it and get a belgian waffle iron or springerle rolling pin.

But a plague didn’t shut down the globe. Politicians did that and sheeple like you unquestioningly went along in case of mass virtue signalling to let everyone know what a good person you are. Best of luck with your pipe dream of a pan-virus vaccine. You’re even more naive than I originally thought if you think that taking this vaccine is going to magically get politicians out of people’s business now. They’re just ramping up. Like I said, there’s some kind of saving grace in being as stupid as you are. At least you’ll always have that.

If they’re destroying property and hurting people it’s a riot not a protest, you fucking inbred.
