The 'flu virus isn't an issue at the moment because everyone is wearing masks. It isn't hard. I don't know why you consider yourself a sceptic, if you see evidence that contradicts your beliefs you will ignore it. That isn't scepticism.
Darling, that was the whole point. We have an example, in the 'flu, of how masks etc are effective, but your malfunctioning monkey mind can't process anything that goes against your pre-conceived beliefs. I recommend suicide in your case, you're clearly beyond the reach of medical help.
Oh. I see. So the seasonal flu was unable to spread among us who do not wear masks while visiting friends and family because of mask mandates (which were ignored), but Covid continues to spread because of those of us not wearing masks when visiting friends and family.
It's too bad that the two viruses act so differently among the population who is putting everybody at risk by their reckless actions. But it is fortunate that the flu at least respects the public health orders that it not spread even in private gatherings where masks are not employed like Covid does. My public health officials inform me that private gatherings among friends and families are where the majority of Covid cases are contracted because of the lack of precautions taken (which I believe.) But at least I only risk Covid and not the flu this year in such situations.
Makes perfect sense now. Thanks.
