From what I understand the variants are supposed to be more contagious, not more lethal.  I am a little skeptical this may reflect theier living conditions more than anything.  The one in the Seychelles, though, makes some vaccinated people sick, though their vaxxes are Chinese- and Indian-made which gives me the willies.

Mrs. Walks has audited that plant up in Baltimore that makes the J&J and AZ vaccines in the past for her gig. Peeling paint. Bad smells. Gross incompetence. The FDA has been on their ass for years but never just shut it down as should have been done. You might be better off with an Indian made vax.

Edit: Just looked into it and it would seem the FDA did shut it down finally.
